Things to Remember…
1. Trust God with the Broken Pieces of your Life. He promises to work all things together for good and if you will give Him your brokenness, He will create something Beautiful.2. Trade in your Plans for God’s Plans. Realize that God’s plans for your life probably look much different than your own plans, but God’s plans are perfect. He cares about your life even more than you do!3. Choose an attitude of Gratitude in every situation. The Bible says that we should “Give thanks in all circumstances” which means that even when life seems to be falling apart, in Christ, we still have countless reasons to give Thanks! When you choose to give Thanks, you’ll find your joy and gratitude chasing away the worry and pessimism from your mind.
Here are a few Scriptures that have brought me peace in troubled times. I pray that these bring you peace as well…‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:4“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.“ Romans 8:1“For I know the plans I have for you declares the LORD; plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11“The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39“Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.  For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.“ 1 Thessalonians 13:18

“Past services now became a complete blank to me, and with the greatest of relief on my part. I began again for God as though I had never accomplished anything. I felt that I stood before Him empty-handed. The fire of testing seemed to sweep away all of my religious doings. God did not want me to rest in these. For the future I was to forget all that I might ever do for God as quickly as it was accomplished, so that it might not prove a further snare to me, and go on as though I had never done a thing for God. This was my safety.”

1 Peter 5:7Let Him have all your worries and cares, for He is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you.John 14:27I am leaving you with a gift - peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid.Philippians 4:6-7Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank Him for His answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ.Psalms 40:1-3I waited patiently for God to help me; then He listened and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out from the bog and the mire, and set my feet on a hard, firm path and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing, of praises to our God. Now many will hear of the glorious things He did for me, and stand in awe before the Lord, and put their trust in Him.Psalms 34:17-19Yes, the Lord hears the good man when he calls to Him for help, and saves him out of all his troubles. The Lord is close to those whose heart is breaking; He rescues those who are humbly sorry for their sins. The good man does not escape all troubles - he has them, too. But the Lord helps him in each and every one.Isaiah 40:31Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.John 14:1-3Let not your heart be troubled. You are trusting God, now trust in Me. There are many homes up there where my Father lives, and I am going to prepare them for your coming. When everything is ready, then I will come and get you, so you can always be with Me where I am. If this weren’t so, I would tell you plainly.Deuteronomy 31:6Be strong! Be courageous! Do not be afraid of them! For the Lord your God will be with you. He will neither fail you nor forsake you.Isaiah 41:10Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with My victorious right hand.Psalms 112:6-8Such a man will not be overthrown by evil circumstances. God’s constant care of him will make a deep impression on all who see it. He does not fear bad news, nor live in dread of what may happen. For he is settled in his mind that Jehovah will take care of him. That is why he is not afraid, but can calmly face his foes.Psalms 32:7-9You are my hiding place from every storm of life; You even keep me from getting into trouble! You surround me with songs of victory. I will instruct you (says the Lord) and guide you along the best pathway for your life; I will advise you and watch your progress. Don’t be like a senseless horse or mule that has to have a bit in its mouth to keep it in line!Hebrews 10:35-38Do not let this happy trust in the Lord die away, no matter what happens. Remember your reward! You need to keep on patiently doing God’s will if you want Him to do for you all that He has promised. His coming will not be delayed much longer. And those whose faith has made them good in God’s sight must live by faith, trusting Him in everything. Otherwise, if they shrink back, God will have no pleasure in them.Isaiah 26:3-4He will keep in perfect peace all those who trust in Him, whose thoughts turn often to the Lord! Turn off your wrath. Don’t fret and worry - it only leads to harm. For the wicked shall be destroyed, but those who trust the Lord shall be given every blessing.
